First Assembly Children’s Center Las Cruces, New Mexico
Client: First Assembly Las Cruces New Mexico Completion: 2008 (under construction)
The Children’s Center will be first-class educational space that is specially designed to appeal to the children who will use it. From obvious design choices like cheerful carpet to architecturally responsive details like landmark entrances that make it easy for kids to navigate, this facility will be an excellent example of how to do it right! The building features beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the U-shaped plan encloses a North-facing courtyard that will provide shade refuge throughout most days of the year.
