4512 Laclede

Client: Private Client
Completed: 2007

The prototypical St. Louis urban housing model 100 years ago was the four-family flat. Our client found a distressed example in a very desirable neighborhood, and asked us to re-envision the shell into a pair of luxury townhouses. By adding a private internal stair in each of the two new units, we were able to completely separate the two units, giving each new owner 2,100 square feet of living space on two levels, plus a full basement. Each three-bedroom, three-bath townhouse features high-end custom kitchens, suite-level laundry, and a bonus upstairs living space . We enclosed the stairs that formerly went to the top units, and created huge master suites with walk-in closets and separate master bath suites. Our vision for each townhouse, coupled with our client’s loving restoration of this grand residence, will also produce a great return on his investment!
